Watching Cricket At Home v Watching it LIVE In The Stadium

A true cricket fan can cross every boundary to see his team play. Be it standing in front of a TV showroom watching the match from the road side or burning a hole in his/her pocket to book the best view seats in advance, a true cricket fan will make sure that s/he doesn’t miss even a single ball bowled.
But watching the match live in the stadium has a lot of perks that watching it at home can never compete with. Here’s a list of reasons why you should DEFINITELY watch your favorite cricket match #LIVE on your #BIGTICKET.

1. No more distractions!
The hurdles between you and your favorite sport are stronger with time now. We’re sure you all must have faced those days where you wouldn’t mind trading your kidney to watch the match without any disturbance but there it is that evil distraction, the dog that needs to be walked, the delivery boy who doesn’t have any change or Satan in any other form.
But when you watch the match live from the stands, all such distractions are at bay; you are in your own safe haven.

2. The Team Spirit!
The team spirit in watching the match at the stadium can never match the level of watching it at home with a couple of friends eating chips off your couch. The joy of cheering out loud for your team, hi-fiving strangers on every 6 and letting out a sigh of relief in chorus on a dropped catch of your star batsman is something the comfort of your old couch can’t give you. You got to be there, watching the team sport, with a team.

3. Claim to fame
The cameras on the field pan across the stadium and catch a glimpse of an interesting expression, and then it stays there, watching the ‘lost in the moment’ look change to ‘oh I am on camera’ look. This face gets more TRP than faces on a typical daily soap. How would you like to be there? Flaunting your best expression, as the camera captures you and the crowd around you cheers for you and tries hard to fit in the frame. You’ll enjoy the paparazzi. Won’t you?

4. To be socially aLIVE
People click pictures of their sad little breakfast and you have to sit through watching it and bearing the boredom. Now it’s your turn to give something actually worth looking at to the people on your list. Live tweets, snaps and Skype screening are the in-things in the social media sector and you can only do it when you are watching the match LIVE from the stands on your #BIGTICKET.

5. Despicable You!
Lean in for this one because it is last but certainly not the least, you should watch a match live on your #BIGTICKET because it makes other people envious of you. They wish they were there, like you are, watching your team play it like it never played before. They crave for the adrenaline, the family feel among the strangers supporting the same team and the priceless feeling of going back home feeling like a winner when your team wins.
Take it from us, you would like the feeling, because if you have read it this far, you are a true cricket fan and you deserve to watch the best games LIVE.

7 kinds of people you spot in amusement parks!

Amusement parks are la-la lands. Colorful clowns, freaky rides, candy bars, scary toys and so much more.
One can almost get lost in the myriad of awesome activities that just compel you to unleash the 5 year old kid in you and run around like you just saw a unicorn.
You might not be lucky enough to spot a unicorn in an amusement park but you will definitely (and in some cases unfortunately) spot these seven kinds of people in an amusement park.

Daredevils: They are the ones who are on a death mission. They will locate the scariest rides and will challenge the weeny wuss to ride it with them. The adrenaline rushes through their veins like sea waves in a tsunami. This often leads to the scaredy-cats on the rides being even more scared. Which brings us to…

Scaredy-cats: These are the anti-daredevils. They don’t even like walking past a fast ride. They enjoy magic shows, mystery rooms, street artists the best. If you force them to get on a ride, they’ll cut you!

Strollers: You might spot this kind walking by randomly in circles. They might even feature randomly in your group photos and will leave you thinking, I am sure this guy wasn't with me. They enjoy giving people the impression that they got out of their house to take an evening walk and somehow reached this amazing wonderland.

Screamers: Squeaks, swears, howls, prayers anything could be coming out from their blessed throats which are sure to be super sore by the time they reach home from the trip. The moment they get on the ride till the moment the usher helps them out of it, they are ones who have the most fun.

Line cutters: They are like the mafia of an amusement park. They won’t get an express upgrade for themselves and would pretend to be a part of your group to get to their favourite rides quicker. Beware of these restless creature on your next trip.

Mommies: No-no we aren't talking about the respected mothers here. We are talking about the self-proclaimed mommies who are yelling do’s and don’t’s even when they are on the awesome rides. You know they are taking care of you, but you also kind of want to stuff their mouth with a soft toy. After all, what are friends for.

Cry-babies: They are quite a common kind but they often exist in stealth mode and thus are difficult to spot. They will be absolutely fine till the moment they are on a ride, but the moment they step out of it they will start complaining really loud about how that ride was the scariest thing that ever happened to them. They will tell it to you, your friends, your family, strangers and yes, you again!

Whichever company you find, make sure that you take a trip to any of the amusement parks near you this summer and enjoy the weather like its meant to be enjoyed.

Also click pictures of your friends and tell us which category they fall in by sharing it on our page. We would love to feature them on our wall!

Stadiums to watch out for!

With the Caribbean Premier League coming up in June, there’s been a lot of talk going around about the series. Let’s explore the stadiums which are going to host the entire series. Each stadium has its own unique feature. Take a look and see how many of these facts you weren't aware of.

1.       Kensington Oval: Did you know that in 2008, the Institute of Structural Engineers recognised this stadium as one of its ‘Structural Awards’ winners. The award was given in the category of ‘Awards for Sports or Leisure Structures.’

2.       Beausejour Cricket Ground: This stadium is said to be amongst the top 10 most picturesque stadiums of the world.

3.       Queens Park Oval:  It is presently the stadium which holds the largest seating capacity in West Indies. Its count goes up to 25,000.

4.       Providence Stadium: Do you remember the iconic moment when Sri Lankan bowler Lasith Malinga became the first bowler in the history of international cricket to take four wickets in four consecutive balls? It happened right here!

5.       Warner Park: You will be amused to know that some seats in this stadium have been recycled and believe it or not, they’ve become more comfortable now!

6.       Sabina Park:  An interesting fact about this stadium is that earlier, a breath-taking view of the Blue Mountains used to be seen, opposite to one of the stands. It was certainly a spectacular view!

7 reasons why attending JLF is a must for every one!

“For any self-respecting reader, the Zee Jaipur Literature Festival is the best that could have happened after the invention of the Gutenberg press,” quoted Business Standard and we could not agree more with it.

Since it’s genesis in 2005, Jaipur Literature Festival has witnessed more footfall than the previous year. Assessing the popular lit-fest, we bring to you 7 reasons why attending JLF is a must for everyone:
  1. Stating the obvious, Jaipur: The pink city blushes pink when the noble ordeal of its appraisal comes into play. The forts in the city, the rich culture that it gleams from every corner, the heritage spots and the easy accessibility from most parts of the world surely makes it an important aspect of whole tale.
  2. The atmosphere: Lawns of the Diggi palace cater a buzzing ambience with a vibrant air. People walk into the lectures in colourful tents, chat around while sipping their coffees in the open-air café, watch the celebrities take a glass of cider and sit next to themselves and enjoy being a part of the most beautiful celebration of words in the whole world.
  3. The evenings: It’s not just intense discussion about the paradigm shifts taking place all around us, JLF is more than anything one can possibly imagine. Dawn brings with itself a soothing calmness in the atmosphere when people enjoy a rollicking concert. People let their hair down, drink, relax and make merry.
  4. The people: From Nobel laureates to debutant novelists, they are all going to be there. The depth in the thoughts of Elizabeth Gilbert to the rebellious attitude of Deepti Kapoor, simple yet sensitive tone of Sudha Murthy to sensational edge of Adam LeBor, you can hear, watch and be mesmerized by all of it at this one pilgrim of all literature lovers.
  5. The testament of your love for books: It’s easy to mention reading as a hobby, it’s easier to pick up a random book here and there and see if it appeals you till the end. But it is a testament of your love for books to save up the dates well in advance, keep yourself free for a week and do something that you truly want. If you have spent nights before an important examination reading something else because you were engrossed in it, devoured pages in hours and a book in days because you couldn’t resist it, you are meant to attend JLF 2015.
  6. The ease of ticketing: Believe us when we say, it could not be easier. It’s like you ask a genie for a wish and ‘whoosh’ it came true. Log in to Kyazoonga.com and book your tickets to the most epic festival in the whole world in just a few minutes.

It’s hard to believe normally and when it is something this amazing, it is even harder to believe that something this big could be literally inexpensive. But with JLF this indeed is the case. 8 types of dancers you find at a party!

Dancing is no rocket science. It's just a simple co-ordinated movement of limbs on the beats.

Except not really!

We often come across those dance lovers who find it excruciatingly difficult to go with the

flow. They really want not to look out of place, but the harder they try, the more outstanding

(pun intended) they look.

Here is a list of 8 types of dancers we come across at a dance party:

1. The solo artist- Remember the person who would stand normally with the

group having a good time and as soon as the music starts, wham! There they go

flaunting the best moves possible. The group might do a funny chicken dance or

the world famous ketchup song dance, but this guy/girl will be like a ballerina taking

pirouettes on the dance floor.

2. Trippy dancer- Whether you play bhangara, EDM, Bollywood remix or house

all the way, they will be on their own trip and stick to the same step for the whole

party. This signature step is mostly head banging coordinated with a single hand

waving in the air. Yeah baby!

3. Pappu can't dance sala- Just like the famous song from the movie 'Jane tu

ya jane na', this dorky looking girl/guy will magically transform into a contestant

from 'So you think you can dance' with music. For the whole night you won't be

able to get over the shock that he/she can REALLY dance!

4. Pappu really can't dance- This poor pappu really can't dance. And nobody

has the heart to tell this to him/her. They will walk around feeling that they are

doing Michael Jackson's moonwalk while they would be really doing a 'I have mud

all over my shoes' move. Tsk Tsk.

5. Super shy dancer- He/she hates dancing and is cursing the moment they

agreed to attend the party. In a rain dance party they will awkwardly stand in

the most arid corner and give the grumpy cat look to others. A word of caution,

dragging them to the dance floor may result in scratches and hisses.

6. The item girl- The wanna-be center of attraction who has by-hearted all the

original steps from the video and is gonna show it all off on the dance floor. They

are Sheila, Munni and Hrithik Roshan personified and you wouldn't wanna enter a

dance battle with them. Seriously!

7. I love this song guy- Every few minutes on every second track that the DJ

plays these party lovers are going to yell, “I love this song!” And they love a lot of

songs, so they are going to drunk dance their way to it till the end. Mostly, these

are the most tired people by the end of the party and can be found cozily snuggled

by the morning still muttering, 'I love this song.'

8. Mr/Miss Choreographer- Oh you didn't know that this was not a

choreographed dance party? Because it wasn't! But nobody told them, so they are

gonna teach you every single dance move that they think is perfect on the song

even when you just want to follow your heart and go with the flow.

8 reasons why a trip to Aquamagica is a relationship must do!

Now don’t get us wrong. It seems pretty obvious. Wet. Wild. Woohoo. Who needs

a whole blog when 3 words can capture why Aquamagica has got everything that it

takes to make you go all water baby with your loved one.

But then, that’s not the only relationship that a trip to Aquamagica can work wonders

on. Family outings, weekends with friends, time with the kids, kiddie parties, and

even some real cooling off with the office gang – it’s all made special at India’s most

exciting water park! And here’s why:

1. Water – Drive in for some ultra-relaxing water therapy. Nothing can set things

quite as right as splashing about in the baby blues. Mad at your boyfriend?

Throw some water at him. It sure beats throwing a tantrum!

2. Adrenaline – Now that’s one unbeatable relationship combo – water and

adrenaline. They say it cements bonds. And strengthens ties. We say,

#gowiththeflow!

3. Hum saat aath dus pandhra hain – For the great Indian family, here’s the great

Indian water park. There’s something for everyone. Adventure, thrill, fun,

relaxation, great food... everything.

4. Ease – Building great relationships is hard work. So we thought we’d make

getting to the venue easy. Online tickets to India’s most favoured water park

are just a click away. On kyazoonga.com!

5. More Magic – You know what great relationships are all about? They are

about going the extra mile. Doing just a little bit more. Delighting your loved

ones with special surprises. Check out super weekend offers of EDM events

and Bollywood Remixes at Aquamagica. Book your tickets online to these

rocking events and get free access to rides at Aquamagica. Go ahead, give

your special relationships some #MoreMagic!

6. The Drive is the Destination – Well, almost. The drive up to Aquamagica is

part of the whole relationship builder. It’s almost like getting into a program

for great relationships. The beautiful Western Ghats. The rolling greens all

around you. A smooth drive along what is arguably India’s best stretch of

road – the Mumbai Pune Expressway. The drive is so good, your kids are

never going to ask the (in) famous “Are we there yet?” And in the words of

the inimitable Anu Malik, “Long drive jayenge, full speed jayenge, etc etc...”

(Who would’ve thought that ‘aaja meri gaadi mein baith ja’ could become a

relationship mantra, but wonders never cease.)

7. Therapy – No seriously. The rides are just the coolest options to lying on a

shrink’s couch. You roar. And you scream. And you holler. As you zip, zap,

zoom your way down exhilarating water slides. Or you Yell-O as you slide

feet first through rides that have more twists and turns than a K-serial on

steroids. You go all Loopy-Woopy. And life just looks Raftaastic. What a

great way to work off all the stress, to blow off steam while having so much

fun!

8. Go with the flow – That’s just the best relationship advice on the planet. And

you get to live it at Aquamagica. Drop the worries. Get into your water gear.

And just go with the flow. It works.
